Tour Terms & Conditions   

Tour Inclusions:
All costs as per your supplied itinerary, meals, camping or accommodation fees, park entry & cruise fees

Not Included:
Domestic or scenic flights (unless arranged); pre and post tour accommodation (unless arranged); personal expenses such as laundry, telephone, fax charges, or alcohol other than were specified. Personal or medical items.

Deposits:
Upon confirmation of your touring program a 20% deposit (per person) is required. Final payment is due one month prior to travel - a Tax Invoice will be raised and forwarded to you.

Cancellations Policy:
12 months + prior - a full refund will be given.
1 - 12 months - a 10% cancellation fee will apply.
Less than 1 month - 2 weeks - 50% of total tour cost.
Less than 2 weeks - 100% cancellation fee applies.
In addition to the above, any cancellations fees or penalties incurred by Venture North from pre-paid or booked third party accommodation, activities and/or suppliers will be withheld from the refund amount.

Travel Insurance:
We strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance. Venture North Australia cannot be held responsible for tour program alterations due to flooding, or acts of nature, missed flight connections, cultural events, road closures, medical evacuations, damage to personal belongings or loss of property.

Licenced Operators:
Venture North Australia are one of the very few companies that hold a concession to operate tours through Arnhem Land and the Cobourg Peninsula. Venture North Australia are accredited with the Transport Act and Parks Australia to operate in Kakadu National Park. Venture North Australia are accredited Savannah Guide operators. All expedition leaders hold current first aid certification.

Vehicles & Trailers:
Travel in air conditioned four wheel drive Landcruiser GXL's, licenced to carry 7 passengers and our vehicles have been fitted with heavy duty suspension, shock absorbers and snorkels for river crossings.
Trailers are specially designed and purpose built for the rugged conditions. Trailers carry 200-300 litre industrial eskies for food, luggage and storage.

Personal Items:
It is recommended that film, sunscreen, a hat, insect repellant, and all personal items are purchased prior to tour.  In some cases these items may not be available en route and can be very costly.

Dietary Requirements:
Please advise of any dietary requirements prior to travel, allergies or meal preferences (vegetarian, low fat, non gluten, etc.)

Alcohol:
In some areas where alcohol restrictions apply, alcohol cannot be purchased or consumed.

Medical / Health & Fitness:
Please advise of any medical contact, in case of illness, accident or any other mishap. Most walking and hiking into gorges is considered to be easy to moderate graded. However a reasonable level of fitness is required.

Please provide an emergency contact, in case of illness, accident or any other mishap.
